Pure Dope (Aka Pure Dope Posse) were pioneers in Kansas City with their triple tongue delivery and sample heavy production. Produced by DJ Icy Roc and first vocal appearance of Tech N9ne on the track 'Kansas City Missouri' Only releasing one album 'Will Get You Higher' in 1992. Pure Dope were; The Real Mello D, DJ Fix, The Philsta (later known as The Philster), Word Maka Supreme & Ray-Dee. Recorded at Westend Studios in Kansas City KS.
